“It is astonishing that while many bathe with clean water, many others cannot find it to drink. Provided it bothers someone somewhere in Africa, we will reach it and change it…”
Mrs Joyce Bekom-Abang Njuare.
Vice President of Explore Africa Foundation.
The world is still phasing through Covid-19, and Explore Africa Foundation has made a loud statement in the fight. During the lockdown phase of the fight against Covid-19, we strove for and achieved the goal of feeding 1,000 families a day until the phase ended. Even today, we battle from the frontlines, and we penetrate deep into communities to provide aid where they are most needed are rarely available. We advocate for Africans to realize that the virus is still a threat, and we teach the best practices to practice until it is defeated.
We have also provided portable drinking water for many communities by sinking boreholes where access to water was difficult and the quality of water was substandard. Through our quick response project, we look out for the challenges that ravage people the most, reaching out and relieving them. Portable drinking water was our primary target at the IDP camp in Benue State, Nigeria.
EAF knows no maternal boundaries. Many children live on the street and hawk petty products. The young leaders of EAF move into the streets, find such children and send them to school, with sufficient provision to feed, educational materials and mentorship required for them to excel. We believe that every child deserves a fair chance at education, whether they can afford it or not.
